For Twi-hards, this weekend is bittersweet as the faithful invade theaters to see the cinematic wedding of the year between Edward (Robert Pattinson) and Bella (Kristen Stewart) in the first part of the final Twilight Saga movie, Breaking Dawn—Part 1. The supernatural soap opera filled with plenty of longing stares and meaningful looks across rooms has been the teen-romance tease of the century, but Bella finally decides to vamp it up in Breaking Dawn—Part 1 after being torn between Edward and her best friend, beefy werewolf Jacob (Taylor Lautner). You can revisit the blossoming love triangle between vampire, wolfboy and angst-filled teenage girl in Twilight, New Moon and Eclipse, but does your Team Bella, Edward and Jacob spirit go beyond The Twilight Saga?

Team Bella fans know that Kristen Stewart's breakout role was that of Sarah Altman in David Fincher's tense 2002 movie Panic Room, in which she plays Jodie Foster's daughter and spends a lot of time locked in a panic room in a Manhattan townhouse while robbers ransack their home. From there, K-Stew began flirting with the supernatural in the 2007 horror film The Messengers about, of all things, the dark forces lingering around her family's North Dakota sunflower farm. The same year she also played a girl who longs for wild man Christopher "Alexander Supertramp" McCandless (Emile Hirsch) in Sean Penn's Into the Wild.
After Twilight and inspiring a slew of young mothers to name their baby daughters Bella, Stewart played an amusement park worker and Jesse Eisenberg's love interest in Adventureland, a troubled teenage girl and stripper in Welcome to the Rileys, and rock legend Joan Jett in The Runaways.

Before he made Stewart's heart beat faster on-screen and off, Pattinson made appearances in two Harry Potter movies: Goblet of Fire and Order of the Phoenix. In the small film How to Be, Pattinson plays a struggling musician who works a dead-end job at a supermarket and is going through a quarter-life crisis. In between causing Team Edward to scream their lungs out in Twilight and New Moon, Pattinson took on one of the most challenging roles of his career as Salvador Dalí in Little Ashes, a film that explores the romance between the surrealist painter and Federico García Lorca (Javier Beltran). Girls want to see R-Patz loving the ladies, though, so Pattinson played the romantic leading man with a pulse in both the coming-of-age drama Remember Me and the more recent Water for Elephants, in which he plays a veterinary student who joins a traveling circus and falls for the ringmaster's wife, played by Reese Witherspoon.

This writer has been in theaters when there is a collective gasp from the female audience after Lautner rips off his shirt and reveals the end result of what is surely a full-time job at the gym, so it will be interesting to see if he can keep the ladies going to the movies after he stops running with the wolf pack in The Twilight Saga. Lautner's first leading role was in Robert Rodriguez's 2005 adventure-fantasy The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lavagirl in 3-D as the titular kid raised by sharks. In the same year, Lautner played an eighth-grade honor student who plays several sports and has a crush on a tomboy played by Alyson Stoner in Cheaper By the Dozen 2. In Garry Marshall's huge ensemble rom-com Valentine's Day, Lautner is enjoying a blossoming teen romance with Taylor Swift. Team Jacob fans might have to drive a bit to still find a theater playing Lautner's action-thriller Abduction, but they will be able to abduct it on DVD and Blu-ray on January 17.
