Jewelry and fine watch fanciers were treated to a visual feast at the recently concluded Jewellery Time 2011 exhibition by Cortina Watch, an extravagant affair graced by VIPs, socialites, friends of the brand and marquee stars like Zhao Wei.
The award-winning biennial celebration of all things bright and beautiful, this year's Jewellery Time was the sixth in its history, and just about its grandest yet. Housed under a towering, five-metre high diamond-shaped pavilion inside the Paragon boutique, guests pored over a stunning display of more than 300 jeweled timepieces by fourteen of the world’s finest haute horlogerie brands, which included Audemars Piguet, Baume & Mercier, Bvlgari, Cartier, Chopard, Chronoswiss, Corum, Girard Perregaux, Jaeger-LeCoultre, Milus, Montblanc, Omega, Piaget and Zenith.
Guest were also the first in the world to preview Chronoswiss’ first ever independent ladies’ automatic wrist watch collection while brands such as Chopard premiered its Imperiale Full Set, conceptualised and designed exclusively for Jewellery Time. Adding megawatt glamour to the event was the appearance of Chinese actress Zhao Wei, who thrilled guests and fans with her effortless beauty and poise.
