Lady Gaga is to receive a Hero Award in recognition of her workwith the LGBT community.
The Born This Way hitmaker will be honoured by the TrevorProject - a non-profit company that offers suicide-preventionservices to lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) youth -at their annual Trevor Live event, while Google Inc will receive aspecial Trevor 2020 award.
David McFarland, Trevor Project CEO and executive officer, said:"Our young people are at the centre of a health crisis, and vocalleaders like Lady Gaga and technology leaders like Google Inc havestepped up to help change our culture.

The Trevor Live event takes place on December 4 at the HollywoodPalladium and will have a host of famous faces in attendance.
Fergie, Miley Cyrus, Julianne Hough, Joe Manganiello, ChrisColfer and Darren Criss - who performed Teenage Dream with KatyPerry at last year's Trevor Live - are all scheduled to appear.
